Why does my 1 TB drive show about 931 GB?

Drive makers use decimal units, where 1 TB is 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. Operating systems such as Windows divide by 1,024 instead and display the result as GB, although it is really GiB: 10^12 ÷ 1024³ ≈ 931.

How do I convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?
